Citizens Who Died From Coronavirus Had Underlying Chronic Diseases

The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection has reached 20,268, of which 9,002 have recovered, and 350 have resulted in fatalities. Currently, 10,802 patients are receiving treatment for the coronavirus. A total of 95,754 tests have been conducted. This information has been reported by the Ministry of Health of Armenia.

Thus, there are 560 new confirmed cases of coronavirus and 148 recoveries. Regarding the fatalities, the patients were aged 62 (female), 81 (male), 57 (male), 65 (female), 81 (male), 64 (female), 66 (male), 55 (female), 48 (female), 61 (male), 73 (male), 90 (female), 84 (male), 65 (male), 72 (male), 51 (male), 57 (male), and 87 (female). All had underlying chronic diseases.

On the previous day, there was 1 recorded death where the patient tested positive for the coronavirus; however, the death was caused by another illness. The total number of such cases is 114.
