1073 Citizens Under Home Quarantine in Shirak Province

Currently, there are 1,073 citizens under home quarantine in Shirak Province, with 220 of them diagnosed positively despite asymptomatic conditions. The supervision is carried out by the primary health care system.

As reported by Araks Kirakosyan, the chief specialist of the Shirak Provincial Government's Information and Public Relations Department, as of June 21 at 11:30 AM, there are 78 patients being treated for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital, 71 of whom are residents of Shirak Province. A total of 231 residents from Shirak Province have recovered from the coronavirus and have been discharged from the hospital. Additionally, 33 patients have been transferred to the capital city. There have been 15 recorded fatalities.

Since March 1, a total of 3,557 tests have been conducted in the healthcare facilities of Shirak Province and the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, with 2,203 tests specifically conducted in Gyumri between May 12 and June 20.
