Venice Commission's Advisory Opinion Published on Kocharian Case
On June 18, the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe published its advisory opinion regarding the constitutionality of Article 300.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, based on the application submitted by the Constitutional Court.
The legal team of the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, has announced that today, June 19, at 12:00 PM, there will be a press briefing in Yerevan’s English Park by Kocharian’s defenders, Hovhannes Khudoyan and Aram Vardevanian. During the briefing, the lawyers will address questions regarding the decision of the Court of Appeals and the Venice Commission's advisory opinion.
