Gas Prices Rise in Stepanakert, While Medical Masks, Onions, Tomatoes, and Potatoes See Price Drops
According to specialists from the Public Services Regulatory Commission and the Competition Regulatory Commission, on June 18, 2020, an analysis of 43 consumer goods at 20 commercial entities in Stepanakert revealed changes in average prices for 13 items compared to the previous observation, with 2 increasing in price and 11 decreasing.
This information was reported by the Information Headquarters of Artsakh on their Facebook page.
Specifically, the average price for regular gasoline increased by 20 drams (6.9%) per liter and diesel fuel by 20 drams (6.4%) per liter.
Price drops were recorded for the following items: onions at 40 drams (17.1%) per kg, medical masks at 13 drams (8.1%) each, tomatoes at 33 drams (6.8%) per kg, potatoes at 17 drams (6.8%) per kg, buckwheat at 36 drams (4.9%) per kg, rice at 12 drams (2.8%) per kg, walnuts at 17 drams (2.6%) per kg, lentils at 13 drams (2.1%), sugar at 4 drams (1.4%), tea 'Akbar' at 7 drams (1%), and coffee 'Original/Lusastgh' at 1 dram (0.4%).
Dominant operators in the markets experiencing price changes are present in the walnut, gasoline, and diesel fuel sectors.
