Rain and Thunderstorms Expected in Yerevan and Northern Regions

The Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations' meteorological service has announced that rain and thunderstorms are expected in significant parts of the regions on June 17 during the day, as well as on June 18-19, and after noon on the 22nd during the night. In particular, the northern regions will experience short-term rain and thunderstorms, accompanied by wind intensification of 15-20 m/s during thunderstorms. Hail is also possible in isolated areas.

The wind will be south-west at a speed of 3-8 m/s. The temperature is not expected to change significantly.

In the capital, Yerevan, short-term rain and thunderstorms are forecasted for certain areas during the day on June 17 and in the evening hours of June 18-22, with possible wind intensification reaching speeds of 15-18 m/s.
