New Decision by the Armenian Prime Minister in Effect
The new decision by the Armenian Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan has come into effect. Below is the full decision:
“Guided by the decision No. 298-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia on declaring a state of emergency in the Republic of Armenia dated March 16, 2020:
- To make the following amendments to the Prime Minister's decision No. 63 of May 3, 2020, regarding the temporary restrictions applied throughout the Republic of Armenia:
- After point 6, add point 6.1 with the following content: “6.1. It is mandatory to have identification documents, such as a passport, ID card, or driver’s license, when outside of one’s residential area.”
- In point 10, make the following changes:
- After the words “to Alexander Shaghakyan, ensure compliance with appendix No. 13 of this decision,” add “to the head of the State Market Surveillance Inspectorate Armen Kotolyan, ensure compliance with appendix No. 6 of this decision.”
- After the words “to Gevorg Avetisyan,” add “together with the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Edward Hovhannisyan.”
- In point 11, make the following changes:
- Replace the words “by points 6 and 7” with “by points 6, 6.1, and 7.”
- After the words “as well as,” add “together with the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Edward Hovhannisyan.”
- After point 11, add point 11.1 with the following content: “11.1. The responsibilities of the head of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Inspection Gniel Hasratyan, together with the Chief of Police Vahe Ghazaryan, shall ensure the prevention of human gatherings, irregular queues, wearing masks, and maintaining social distance in historical and cultural monuments, tourist attractions of historical, cultural, natural, scientific, and other interests, as well as recreation areas and camping sites (complexes).”
- This decision comes into effect on June 16 of this year at 11:59 PM.”
