Criminal Case Initiated Against Former Director of 'Harsnakhar'

A criminal case has been initiated against Hayk Shahnazaryan, the former director of the 'Harsnakhar' complex owned by Ruben Hayrapetyan's family, for the fraudulent appropriation of particularly large amounts of the company's property, based on our report. This was announced by Amram Makinyan, the lawyer for the Hayrapetyans, on his Facebook page.

“We hope that all possible measures will also be taken to return Hayk Shahnazaryan, who is currently abroad, to Armenia in connection with this criminal case...” he noted.

“Let me remind you that Hayk Shahnazaryan is the same person who was allegedly tortured and unlawfully deprived of his freedom by the organization of Ruben Hayrapetyan, but the court did not confirm Hayrapetyan's involvement; instead, a few days later a criminal case was initiated against Hayk Shahnazaryan for allegedly committing fraud of particularly large amounts. I regret that the press service of the investigative committee forgot to inform the public about this as well, as was done in the case of accusing Ruben Hayrapetyan...” the statement added.
