We have clearly expressed that we will not tolerate threats and the use of force. Foreign Minister
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, assures that the Armenian side has clearly expressed at all levels that it will not tolerate threats or the use of force from the adversary.
According to Armenspress, Mnatsakanyan stated this during a Q&A session with government members in the National Assembly, responding to a question from Prosperous Armenia faction MP Sergey Bagratyan regarding recent diversionary actions taken by Azerbaijan.
"We have clearly expressed that we will not tolerate threats or the use of force," said Mnatsakanyan. He assured that the Armenian side is constantly working within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship and directly with the co-chairs.
"I assure you that Armenia's policy is more than consistent regarding the rejection of threats and the use of force in the context of our readiness to respond to them," he noted.
He emphasized that Armenia has a consistent policy on all issues related to approaches for peaceful resolution, participation in the peace process, and creating a favorable environment for the peace process.
"This has been stated, it has been expressed, it is a stance and is being pursued consistently at all levels, whether it is the negotiation process itself or our engagements multilaterally and bilaterally with our partners. To put it plainly, we know very clearly what we are saying, we say it very clearly, and there is no need to add unnecessary emotional colors to it," assured the Foreign Minister.
