My House Was «Spit and Stuck» Together, They Told Me to Say I Got Money, But I Haven't Received a Penny: Artush Grandfather Discontent with Home Renovation
On April 24, the day of remembrance for the victims of the Armenian Genocide, 82-year-old Artush Mirzoyan expressed dissatisfaction with the renovation of his home. This was revealed in a video shot by the Yerevanonline website. It is noted that the grandfather's dilapidated house was renovated by a group of volunteers.
“Is this even a thing they did? It’s just been spit and stuck together; they’ve thrown dirty linoleum on the floor. This isn’t work; this is just an excuse. Is this what you’ve stuck together, you scoundrels?” Artush complained to Yerevan.Online.
A woman who claimed to be Artush Mirzoyan's daughter but preferred not to show her face stated that her father lives with the family and has never been abandoned. The 82-year-old man also expressed discontent that he was not given cash. “I didn’t need food, nor did I need a renovation. They should have given me money,” he said.
