Infection Cases Have Occurred and Continue in Food Production Facilities: Torosyan
Infection cases occur in food production facilities in Armenia; however, the likelihood of transmitting the infection through food produced is nearly zero. This was stated by Health Minister Arsen Torosyan during a recent press conference, responding to questions about whether there have been infection cases in food production facilities and whether it is possible to transmit the infection through food prepared by an infected person, as well as how much the increase in cases is related to this factor.
“There have been and continue to be infection cases in food production facilities. We are implementing specific actions in each facility to clarify and isolate contact circles. The likelihood of spreading the infection through food produced in these facilities is nearly zero. And I do not in any way attribute the pace of infection increase to such cases,” said Torosyan.
