Citizen's Suicide Attempt Prevented

On April 16, at 00:00, the National Crisis Management Center received information that a citizen was attempting to commit suicide by jumping off the Victory Bridge in Yerevan. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A team from the fire and rescue unit of the Yerevan Rescue Department, as well as an instructor from the psychological support division, were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that Vagarshak A. (born in 1989) had crossed the barrier and was attempting to jump off the bridge. Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, local authorities managed to prevent the suicide attempt.
