A Mine Found in Artamet; Sappers Neutralized It On-Site
On April 16, at 10:46 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a mine had been discovered in one of the land plots in the village of Artamet, Ararat Province.
A rescue team from the regional emergency management division of the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly arrived at the scene. It was determined that the found item was an armor-piercing fragmentation mine, which was neutralized on-site by sappers from the Ministry of Defense’s military unit No. N.
Subsequently, it was reported that another mine had also been discovered in a nearby area. This was confirmed to be a grenade launcher mine, which was likewise neutralized on-site by the same sappers. The rescuers cordoned off the area and continued monitoring the situation.
