When Will Banks Provide Loans? Deputy Minister Responds

Today, Deputy Minister of Economy Arman Khojoyan answered reporters' questions regarding when banks will be operational and complete all planned transactions.

“Some banks are operational. We agreed that banks will accept applications; we will attempt to provide a preliminary assessment. The process requires time, and we decided to use it effectively. We will see when movement restrictions are lifted, and at that time, they will grant loans. Banks should not be blamed, as loans are purpose-driven, and they should visit and provide them accordingly,” the deputy minister stated.
