Investigation into Narek Samsonyan's False Accusation Case Concludes
During the investigation of the criminal case initiated by the Special Investigative Service (SIS), sufficient evidence has been gathered to establish that Narek Samsonyan, president of the Civil Consciousness NGO, knowingly provided false information, making a false accusation against the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia by attributing the abuse of official powers to him, as outlined in part 1 of Article 308 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
This information has been disclosed by the SIS of the Republic of Armenia. Narek Samsonyan has been charged under part 1 of Article 333 of the Criminal Code for making a false accusation about a crime. The investigation concerning N. Samsonyan has been concluded, and the case has been forwarded to the supervising prosecutor with charges for submission to the court.
