Temporary Commission on Parliamentary Ethics to be Established in the National Assembly
The National Assembly has discussed a draft decision on the establishment of a temporary commission regarding parliamentary ethics, presented by the Civil Contract faction. The parliament is moving on to vote on the draft.
Arthur Khachatryan, a member of the Armenia faction, announced that the faction will vote in favor of the draft decision. He stated, "The eighth convocation of the National Assembly, the Armenia faction, and especially Artsvik Minasyan have made undeniable contributions to the creation, discussion, and adoption of this issue. The Armenia faction will vote in favor of this decision and is confident that the rules of parliamentary ethics will be maintained both form and content-wise."
Tigran Abrahamyan also spoke on procedural matters, declaring that his faction will also vote in favor of the establishment of the temporary commission on parliamentary ethics.
