Masks, Gloves, and Sufficient Hand Sanitizer Distributed to Courts
As of 12:00 PM on March 17, all courts in Armenia have received 50 masks, 50 pairs of gloves, and a sufficient amount of hand sanitizer along with the necessary equipment and disinfectants from the Judicial Department. This initial batch is intended for the staff of court offices and judicial management services.
The process of providing necessary preventive measures and disinfectants to other court employees is currently underway. The Judicial Department urges our citizens to go to court only in cases of extreme necessity, wearing masks and gloves.
It should also be noted that, as necessary, options for remote work are being implemented in the courts, including written procedures and means of electronic communication and telephone contact.
We urge public and political figures, as well as active users of social media, to exercise appropriate restraint when making comments about the courts. We assure that the Supreme Judicial Council and the Judicial Department are working around the clock to ensure the normal functioning of the courts, disinfecting them under the established state of emergency conditions, and ensuring the health and safety of court staff and our citizens.
