Panic Is a Greater Threat Than Coronavirus: Armen Muradyan
The rector of Yerevan State Medical University, Armen Muradyan, made a post on his Facebook page addressing the suspension of classes in educational institutions and stated that there is no reason to panic. The post is presented below:
“Dear colleagues, beloved students, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced a moment ago that educational institutions will not operate tomorrow. The Prime Minister also added that further information regarding the strategy will be provided later. Please remember, panic poses a greater danger than the coronavirus. Yes, the situation worldwide is alarming, but it is not severe, and there is no reason to succumb to panic. Stay healthy,” he wrote.
It is noteworthy that as of March 1, a total of six confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported in Armenia. Prime Minister Pashinyan announced that classes will be suspended starting March 13 and a consultation will be convened.
