Court Hearing in the Case of Robert Kocharyan Begins; He Will Not Attend
A court hearing in the case of Armenia's second president, Robert Kocharyan, and others has just commenced. Robert Kocharyan will not attend today’s court session due to health reasons, as reported by his lawyer, Aram Orbelyan.
“Mr. Kocharyan will not participate in the court session as his current health condition does not permit it. The lawyers will be present at the session. It is highly possible that the court hearing may be postponed,” said Orbelyan.
He added that technically, the court could proceed with the hearing in Kocharyan's absence if it is documented that he is unable to attend. Referring to Kocharyan's health condition, the lawyer stated that compared to Sunday, his condition has stabilized.
