Court Decides to Detain Samvel Mairepetian

The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, presided over by Judge Artush Gabrielyan, has just ruled to detain businessman Samvel Mairepetian. This was reported by HJ.

It is worth noting that Mairepetian was declared wanted, and a motion was submitted to the court for his detention. The Investigative Committee presented the reason that Mairepetian had been allowed to travel abroad for medical treatment; however, he failed to appear when summoned by the investigative body, and those who had assumed personal responsibility could not ensure his appearance before the Investigative Committee.
