I Have Two School-Aged Children and I Am Ready to Send Them to School, Says Arsen Torosyan on School Closures Due to Coronavirus

I have two school-aged children and I am ready to send them to school because I do not consider the public health threat to be high. School-aged children virtually do not face issues with the coronavirus, and cases among children are rare, said the Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, during a press conference regarding the first recorded cases of coronavirus in Armenia.

“We have not yet had the opportunity to discuss this topic with the government and the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, but I believe we will manage to do so during the day and will inform you about any decisions made,” said the minister.
