Shushan Pashinyan Sues Narek Samsonyan

The daughter of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Shushan Pashinyan, has filed a lawsuit against Narek Samsonyan, the head of the Civil Consciousness NGO. This was reported by Armtimes.com.

Pashinyan is demanding a public denial of what she claims are defamatory statements and compensation. The lawsuit was filed on February 26 and has been assigned to Judge Zarouhi Nakhshkaryan of the Yerevan City Court.

According to Pashinyan’s representative, Gevorg Gyozalyan, the reason for the lawsuit is a post made by Samsonyan on January 26 on his Facebook page, where he allegedly claimed that the Prime Minister’s middle daughter consumes black caviar at a price of 3,000 dollars per kilogram. The lawyer highlighted that they are demanding the public denial of this false information on the Facebook page of Samsonyan or through a printed media with a circulation of at least 1,000 copies, as well as compensation of 2 million AMD to Shushan Pashinyan, as stipulated by the Civil Code of the Republic of Armenia.
