Linking Military Mobilization to Border Tensions is Simply Naïve: Deputy Minister of Defense
There are planned activities that take place every year, and there will be several more this year, so there is no reason to be alarmed. This was stated today, February 28, during a conversation with journalists at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia, Gabriel Balayan, addressing the upcoming military mobilizations.
“These are activities stipulated by the military mobilization readiness plan that will occur at various levels. The corresponding government decision is already in place. It happened last year as well, from September 24 to October 5. To connect this with border tensions is simply naïve,” said the Deputy Minister.
