Foreign Minister and Georgian Defense Minister Discuss Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict
On February 28, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with a delegation led by Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Garibashvili. The parties noted with satisfaction the high level of historical friendship and fraternal relations, reaffirming their mutual commitment to take steps toward expanding and enriching the Armenian-Georgian comprehensive agenda.
The Foreign Minister expressed satisfaction that there is a rich agenda of dialogue and cooperation at various levels between Armenia and Georgia, which is also determined by the strategic interconnection of the two countries.
Regional issues were discussed, and Minister Mnatsakanyan presented Armenia's principled position and approaches regarding the peaceful resolution process of Nagorno-Karabakh. Both sides emphasized that there is no alternative to the peaceful resolution of conflicts.
