Trial Continues for Davit Sanasaryan and Employees of the State Control Service
The trial concerning Davit Sanasaryan, the temporarily suspended head of the State Control Service, along with three other defendants, continues at the Shengavit residence of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction.
During the previous court session, the state prosecutor presented the charges against the defendants. All of the defendants, except for Sanasaryan, declined to provide a position regarding the charges. Sanasaryan did not accept the charges against him. The court established the procedure for examining the evidence. It was decided first to investigate the written evidence of the criminal case, then to hear witness testimonies, and finally, to hear from the defendants.
Davit Sanasaryan has been charged with abusing his official position by using it against the interests of the service, while serving as the head of the State Control Service, which includes appointing and dismissing employees, imposing disciplinary sanctions, and requesting information about supervised objects, based on group interests.
It should be noted that there are three other defendants in the case: State Control Service employees Samvel Adyan, Gevorg Khachatryan, and Taron Avetisyan, the actual manager and accountant of the 'Zorashen' LLC company. The court began examining the evidence today. The criminal case consists of 28 volumes.
