Pierre Larèche, Former Director of Yerevan Brandy Factory, Passes Away
Pierre Larèche, the former president and general director of the Yerevan Brandy Factory, passed away yesterday evening in France at the age of 74. This was announced by former Armenian Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan in a Facebook post.
“Pierre was a great friend of Armenia and Artsakh. He was awarded state honors and medals. His most significant achievement was the identification of Armenian brandy in the realm of brandy production. Under his leadership, a genius decision was made to accept the standard for Armenian brandy,” Bagratyan wrote.
