The issue of Nagorno-Karabakh is both Azerbaijan's and ours: Erdogan in Baku

Our greatest desire is the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue within the framework of Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Baku yesterday, adding that they will continue to support Azerbaijan in this "just struggle."

"The question of Nagorno-Karabakh is both Azerbaijan's and ours. I want to say openly that the Minsk Group is unfortunately not sincere on this issue, as nearly 25 years have been lost. Why is there no result for any reason? Naturally, we need to discuss this," said Erdogan.

Aliyev also pointed out that "Armenia's unconstructive position is the main obstacle to resolving the issue and that the extremely contradictory statements by the Armenian leadership significantly harm the negotiation process, adding that 'the conflict must be resolved within the framework of their territorial integrity, national sovereignty, and inviolability of borders.'"
