Foreign Minister Presents Armenia's Principles on Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict to Josep Borrell
On February 25, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan had a telephone conversation with the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, who is also the Vice-President of the European Commission. The Armenian Foreign Ministry’s Department of Information and Public Diplomacy informed Armenpress about the discussion.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the multi-layered agenda of Armenia-EU cooperation, emphasizing the importance of the Eastern Partnership as a crucial platform for implementing common values and established goals with the EU.
The interlocutors also addressed the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the European Union. At the request of the EU High Representative, Minister Mnatsakanyan presented Armenia's principled stance and approaches regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh issue and discussed recent meetings within the framework of the peace settlement process.
