Criminal Case Opened for Threats Against Edmon Maroukian

The head of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction, Edmon Maroukian, has had a criminal case initiated regarding threats made against him. The case falls under the first part of Article 137 of the RA Criminal Code, which pertains to threats of murder, causing serious harm to health, or destroying property of significant value, provided that there was a danger of such threats being carried out. This information was reported by 'PastiInfo'.

It is noteworthy that during a press conference held in parliament on February 11, Maroukian mentioned receiving threats. 'I warn you, you bastard, soon the bullets will start flying, watch out...' Maroukian quoted part of the threats directed at him.

In response to these threats, Maroukian has submitted a written appeal to the Prosecutor General. The Prosecutor's Office forwarded Maroukian's letter to the 6th Division of the Police as a report of a crime.
