Blizzard Expected in Northern Regions Throughout February 25

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of February 24 at 21:10, the roads in Armenia are mostly passable. However, the roads leading to the Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn region will remain closed for an indefinite period.

On February 25, a blizzard is expected throughout the northern regions, especially in mountainous areas, along with precipitation in the form of snow and rain mixed with snow.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Situations Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepanavan-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
