Discussion on Possible Temporary Closure of Meghri Border Checkpoint: Narek Zeynalyan
The Chairman of the Health and Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly, Narek Zeynalyan, made a post on his Facebook page regarding the spread of coronavirus in Iran. He particularly noted that he spoke with Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan concerning the current situation.
“In recent days, there has been active discussion on Facebook regarding the cases of coronavirus infections and deaths reported in Iran. I would like to inform that today I spoke with Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan and we discussed the situation surrounding the coronavirus. We receive information on a daily basis, which is analyzed, and all possible risks and developments are assessed in detail. All options for preventing the virus's entry are on the agenda, including discussing the temporary closure of the Meghri border checkpoint,” wrote the deputy.
