Ryanair Investigating Check-in Issues for Milan-Yerevan Flight Passengers

The Irish budget airline Ryanair is currently investigating the refusal of check-in for several dozen passengers on its Milan-Yerevan flight. According to Armenpress, during the "Armenian Flight Mode" discussion organized as part of the one-year anniversary of Passenger.am, a company dedicated to the protection of air passengers' rights, co-founder Gurgen Ghazaryan stated that they will do everything possible for these passengers to receive compensation.

“I personally was a passenger on the Milan-Yerevan flight and saw what happened there. The problem was that there was only one check-in desk and numerous passengers. The check-in process was simply poorly organized. There were 31 passengers left behind in Milan, and they contacted Passenger.am, and we will fight for the rights of all affected passengers to ensure they receive compensation for not arriving in Yerevan on that flight,” Ghazaryan noted.

The head of the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia, Tatevik Revazyan, emphasized that they have approached Ryanair to conduct an investigation into the incident. “I raised the issue and personally informed Ryanair about what happened at the airport so that they are fully aware of the problem and can try to investigate the situation,” Revazyan stated.
