As of 08:45, there are closed and difficult roads in the Republic of Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of February 22 at 08:45, there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
The roads leading to the Amberd fortress and Kari lake in the Aragatsotn region will remain closed for an indefinite period of time. The Vardenyats mountain pass is closed for trucks and difficult for other vehicles to navigate. The Sotk-Karmiravan road is difficult for trucks.
In Kotayk region, there is fog in the towns of Ashtarak and Talin, as well as in the region of Amasia in the Shirak province.
Regarding Lars, information obtained from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of North Ossetia of the Russian Federation indicates that the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for passenger vehicles, while it is closed for trucks. According to the Crisis Management Center of North Ossetia, there are currently 335 trucks stranded on the Russian side.
