Car Sales in China Dropped by 92% Due to Coronavirus
In China, retail sales of passenger cars fell by 92% year-on-year during the first two weeks of February due to the outbreak of the coronavirus. This is evidenced by data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).
During the first week of the month, the decline reached 96%. During that period, sales averaged 811 cars per day.
