Armen Tavadian's Petition for Release on Personal Guarantee Denied
The prosecution has denied the petition for the release of Armen Tavadian, the owner of '5th Channel,' on personal guarantee. This was reported by Arevik Khachatryan, head of the Public Relations Department of the Prosecutor's Office.
Khachatryan stated: “The petition was denied because at the current stage of the investigation, no other preventive measure, including personal guarantee, is capable of preventing the accused's unlawful behavior and neutralizing the grounds recorded by the court's decision to choose detention as a preventive measure against Tavadian. There are no grounds or necessity to replace the selected preventive measure of detention with personal guarantee.”
