13 New Coronavirus Cases Registered in Iran
The Iranian Ministry of Health has reported 13 new cases of coronavirus infections across the country. The total number of infected individuals has reached 18.
According to РИА Новости, most of the patients are either residents of Qom (a city known for Shia pilgrimages that attracts visitors from various countries) or have recently been in that city. Specifically, out of the 13 new cases, 7 have been registered in Qom. The virus has also spread to the capital, with 4 cases reported in Tehran and 2 in Gilan Province.
It is noteworthy that two of the infected individuals have died.
