Trucks Block Traffic Near Sotk Mine
On February 20, at 04:46 AM, the National Crisis Management Center of Armenia reported that on the Sotk-Karvachar highway, near the Sotk mine, two trucks were unable to continue their journey due to black ice.
A team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.
It was found that the trucks were side by side due to the black ice, blocking traffic and causing a traffic jam with approximately 50 vehicles stuck.
Rescuers and employees from the Road Department managed to realign the trucks using special equipment.
