The Order Will Come, Then We Will Talk: Jalal Harutyunyan on Becoming the Commander of the Armed Forces
Until a final decision is made, I cannot say anything. This was stated today, on February 19, during a conversation with NEWS.am by Jalal Harutyunyan, the first deputy commander and chief of staff of the Artsakh Defense Army.
“I don’t know whether there will be announcements or an order; we will talk about it then. What should I say without an order? Until a final decision is made, I cannot say anything,” he noted in the interview.
Jalal Harutyunyan indicated that there has been no proposal yet, but if there is, he will think about it: “For now, there hasn't been any offer. What should I say? If there is something, we will consider it. I have nothing to add to what was mentioned by the Chief of Staff. It was clearly noted; what else should I add?”
It is worth noting that there is information in the press stating that the commander of the Defense Army, Karen Abrahamyan, will be relieved of his duties and Jalal Harutyunyan will replace him.
