The Head of the Military Police Dismissed; Other Dismissals in the Armed Forces
Last night, the head of the Armenian Military Police, Arthur Baghdasaryan, was dismissed, following several controversial publications regarding his corrupt activities. This information has been reported by 1in.am, citing its sources.
According to information received by the media outlet, in addition to the Military Police chief, after a consultative meeting with the Prime Minister yesterday, Major General Alik Aleksanyan, the head of the Personnel Department of the Armenian Armed Forces, was also relieved of his duties, along with Lieutenant General Karen Abrahamyan, the commander of the Artsakh Ministry of Defense and the Defense Army.
It is noted that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also made a post on his Facebook page, stating that discussions were held in the government regarding some incidents that occurred in the army this year, and several important decisions, including personnel changes, were made.
