Former Head of Ajapnyak District Administration's Activities Sent to Police

Yesterday, Gevorg Babayan, the head of the Ajapnyak administrative district, submitted his resignation. According to circulating media reports, the reason for his resignation is related to providing the opportunity for one of the companies to construct private houses.

Factor.am reports that, according to its sources, the former head gave the opportunity to construct three private houses in the 17th district to relatives of a well-known entrepreneur in the Ajapnyak community, known by the names "Kargiin Shinaht" or "Jermuk's" Noro, without obtaining necessary permits.

The activities of the former head of Ajapnyak district, Gevorg Babayan, are being investigated by the Police of the Republic of Armenia. This information was provided by the police's press service.
