Defense Chief Artak Davtyan Attends Closed-Door Meeting at National Assembly

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Artak Davtyan, has arrived at the National Assembly at the invitation of the parliamentarians. The topic of the closed-door meeting is the recent deaths in the army that are not caused by enemy fire.

Davtyan is set to meet with the standing committees on Human Rights and Public Affairs, as well as Defense and Security.

It is also noteworthy that yesterday, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a consultation at his office, where discussions were held regarding the circumstances and causes of the recent fatalities within the armed forces.
