The Campaign for the Constitutional Amendments Referendum Begins

As of today, the campaign for the referendum on the amendments to the Constitution is officially underway, lasting for 44 days and concluding on April 3. Two headquarters will be established, one for the 'Yes' vote and one for the 'No' vote.

The referendum on the constitutional amendments proposes to terminate the terms of the President of the Constitutional Court, Hrayr Tovmasyan, and six members of the court. The referendum will take place on April 5.

Earlier, it was reported that the 'Yes' campaign will be led by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Suren Papikyan. A coalition of several lawyers and human rights defenders has come together for the 'No' camp.
