Georg Babayan, the head of the Ajapnyak administrative district, has submitted his resignation. He announced this on his Facebook page.
In the post, he stated:
“Dear citizens, respected colleagues from the Yerevan Municipality and the Ajapnyak administrative district staff, beloved residents of Ajapnyak. Since 2018, I have had the honor of taking on the responsibilities of the head of the Ajapnyak administrative district, which I have carried out with love and high responsibility. During this time, together with the district staff, we have implemented numerous programs for the development of our district. I ask for your forgiveness for the programs that were not realized.
Dear residents of Ajapnyak, I have submitted my resignation to terminate my powers as the head of the district, dedicating my knowledge, strength, and energy to another altruistic cause. I wish effective work and success to the new head of the district. I am confident that the new leader will be ready to share in the concerns of the district; Ajapnyak will continue to develop, and I, within my capabilities, will continue to support and promote any initiative aimed at this process.
Dear Ajapnyak residents and colleagues, thank you for your unity and dedication throughout these years, for supporting and trusting me. I wish us all success.”
