We Have No Right to Sacrifice Soldiers to Death: Alen Simonyan Discusses Tragic Incident with Minister David Tonoyan
Earlier, I spoke with the Minister of Defense, David Tonoyan, who is currently on a business trip, regarding the tragic incident that occurred in the army. I learned about the details of the incident. Alen Simonyan, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, wrote about this.
“The EXCLUSION of such tragic incidents is of primary importance, regardless of the cause—be it non-regulation relationships, health issues, or something else. We have no right to sacrifice soldiers to death; every drop of our boys’ blood is priceless. Those responsible will be punished to the fullest extent. I express my deepest condolences to the family of contract serviceman Hayk Asryan. May God protect the Armenian army and our boys,” he wrote.
