Penalty for Missing One Car License Plate Reduced
The National Assembly has approved a proposal by My Step faction member Gevorg Papoyan during today's vote, which reduces the penalty for the absence of one vehicle registration plate. The law was passed in the second reading and will be sent to the president for signature.
Under the current regulation, a driver is stripped of their driving rights for 1 year if even one registration plate is missing. The new regulation stipulates that in this case, the driver will lose 2 points and pay a fine of 20,000 drams.
