In Yerevan, Advertisements Will Be Installed on Special Boards, Not on Trees or Building Walls
National Assembly member from My Step Alliance, Arthur Hovhannisyan, has introduced a bill that aims to prohibit the posting of paper and other types of advertisements on building walls, trees, utility poles, and other locations. He noted that this measure currently applies only to Yerevan.
The MP explained that other regions do not yet have advertising boards where such ads can be posted, whereas in Yerevan, this opportunity exists. He mentioned that he has an agreement with the Yerevan City Hall to install a large number of these boards in the near future.
According to Hovhannisyan, they are also negotiating to ensure the availability of similar boards in other areas of Armenia. After that, the MP indicated, it will be possible to extend the law to those areas as well.
