Gagik Tsarukyan Clarifies Whether BHK is in the 'Yes' or 'No' Camp

Gagik Tsarukyan, the head of the Armenian parliamentary faction 'Prosperous Armenia' (BHK), responded to reporters' questions in the parliament.

“We have been in favor of the idea of a referendum. Mikhail Melkumyan made a speech, stating our position that we are ready for 24-hour work to fully discuss and address the legal aspects,” Tsarukyan said in a conversation with journalists. “We were expecting a response. Since there was no response, that is why we did not participate in the voting,” he added.

When asked whether the BHK will be in the 'Yes' or 'No' camp, Tsarukyan replied that everything will be clear after the session of the political council. “We do not have a unanimous opinion; we will discuss it and express our viewpoint,” noted the BHK leader.
