Dozens of Citizens in Armenia Receive Calls from Azerbaijani and Foreign Numbers: NSS

The National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia has issued a warning. On January 31, 2023, between 07:11 and 07:30 AM, several dozen subscribers from one of the mobile network operators in Armenia received calls from Azerbaijani as well as other foreign phone numbers, lasting 0 seconds. Some subscribers attempted to return calls to the mentioned foreign phone numbers.

It is essential to inform the public that answering calls from unknown foreign numbers or trying to establish a return connection may result in significant amounts being withdrawn from the balance of that phone number. Consequently, the NSS urges Armenian subscribers not to answer calls from unfamiliar foreign phone numbers and to refrain from establishing contact with them.
