1098 Vehicles Accumulated on the Russian Side: 950 Trucks and 148 Cars
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of February 10 at 13:00, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia.
The roads leading to the Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in Aragatsotn Province and the Vardenyats Pass are closed. The Saravan-Zanger section (blizzard), the Chayni curves (blizzard), the Jermuk-Gndevaz road (blizzard), the Sotk-Karvachar, and the intercommunity roads of Aparan and Aragats in Aragatsotn Province are difficult to navigate.
There are spots of black ice on the roads of Kotayk, Gegharkunik, Lori, Shirak, and Syunik provinces.
According to information received from Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center of the North Ossetia Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, the Stepanavan-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles.
Information from the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia indicates that there are 1098 vehicles accumulated on the Russian side, including 950 trucks and 148 cars. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
