No Significant Changes Noted in the Epidemic Background of Influenza: Arayik Harutyunyan

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Arayik Harutyunyan shared a post on his Facebook page, referencing a statement made by Health Minister Arsen Torosyan. He wrote, 'During these days, we have been receiving reports where our citizens express concern about possible outbreaks of epidemics in educational institutions, especially in schools. Maintaining daily communication with Health Minister Arsen Torosyan, I have noted that no significant changes have been observed in the epidemic background. Today, I personally visited two schools where, yes, there were classes with low attendance, but there were also classes, in fact, the majority, where absences did not exceed 10 percent.'

'Yesterday, I also sent a letter to the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan, requesting additional measures to ensure appropriate thermal conditions in schools during the upcoming cold days. We are constantly in touch with health authorities, and in case of any changes in the epidemic background, we will inform the public and, if necessary, take action.'
