Today marks the 24th anniversary of the establishment of the RA Constitutional Court: Tovmasyan's message

The President of the Constitutional Court, Hrayr Tovmasyan, has sent a congratulatory message on the 24th anniversary of the establishment of the Constitutional Court.

The full message is presented below:

“Dear compatriots,

Today, February 6, 2020, marks the 24th anniversary of the establishment of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia. As the guardian of the Constitution and responsible for ensuring constitutionality, the Constitutional Court has provided and continues to provide, through its daily activities since its founding, the realization and enforcement of the values, principles, human rights, and fundamental freedoms enshrined in the Constitution within the Republic of Armenia.

The judges of the Constitutional Court contribute through their daily impartial work to the assurance of the important principles of the Constitution—the rule of law, and the realization of equality before the law, thereby guaranteeing the establishment of a legal state.

May the Constitution serve at all times as the crucial document of the legal state and protect every citizen of the Republic of Armenia through the force of the rule of law.”
